About Us
Heather Way
I have always had a passion for sewing ever since the age of 8 when my grandmother taught me to sew. I started making wedding dresses but felt my passion was more for interiors. I completed a City & Guilds Interior Design Course and then a course in making bespoke curtains and blinds by hand. I then began making curtain and blinds for friends and family at home.
In 2003 I completed my degree in BA (HONS) Advanced and Commercial Interior Design (with a 6-week-old baby!). The business became so successful that in 2006 I took the leap to open my own busines Raindrop Interiors from home. The business just got bigger and bigger that we had to find a larger workspace. In 2014 we moved to a unit in Eastlands Boat Yard, Swanwick. Since then, we have moved again to a larger unit in Segensworth, Fareham. I am so proud of how the business has grown and so grateful to all our wonderful clients for their continued support.

I started working part-time for Heather in May 2021 to help refresh and grow the business on-line presence. Starting with a refresh of the current webpage and google business and getting social media up-to-date and posting regularly. I love continually learning about how social media works for business growth and showcasing the amazing work she does for her client’s beautiful homes.
I have always had a passion for fashion and interiors. Before I had my 4 boys, I completed a BA (HONS) in Retail Management and went on to work in buying for River Island and Debenhams in London. Then returning home to Southampton and working in buying for B&Q head office. My husband and I also designed and built our own dream family home, and this is how I met Heather as she did all the curtains, blinds and soft furnishings for my home as well as many other projects over the years.
